My great great grandparents, Rosalia Zimnoch and Alexander Kobeszko, had 3 children: Anna (my great grandmother), Marianna and Pawal (Paul). Anna and Marianna immigrated to the US. Pawal stayed in Poland. Pawal had one son, named Josef. Josef had a very difficult life under the Communists and at one point, he was interned in a Soviet work camp in Siberia. He (unlike most) survived the camp and eventually moved to Saffron Walden England. To my knowledge, Josef had one child, named Joseph, on 22 August 1947. Josef was was born prematurely (6 months gestation) and died after 14 hours. This is a copy of baby Joesph's death certificate. The certificate does not list the mother's name.

Josef married a Scottish woman, named Mary Fallen Blashmie, on the 15th of October 1958 in Saffron Walden England. This is a copy of their marriage certificate. The newly weds had much to celebrate on that day, as it was also Mary's 42nd birthday. Josef would turn 40 on the 20th of October.
